Terms of Appointment
The appointment of a College Tutor (CT) is normally at least one academic year, subject to the result of a semester-end evaluation. Throughout the entire service period, a CT will be allocated a rent-free single room and provided with a utility subsidy. During the semesters, it is expected that the CT shall not be away from Hong Kong in order to attend to the needs of residents.
The appointment is renewable for up to a maximum service period of three years. Renewal of appointment will be subject to mutual agreement. Such renewal, if applicable, shall be made on terms as deemed appropriate by the University.
