NGCE Route: Having received a grade of B or above in UEI or UEII or an email from your NGCE teacher supporting your application, you would like to join a summer programme abroad to practise the principles of global citizenship.

Foreign Languages Route: Having received a grade of B or above in a level-2 foreign language course at the LC or an email from your foreign language teacher supporting your application, you would like to join a summer programme abroad to enhance your language skills (French, German, Korean, Japanese or Spanish) as well as practise the principles of global citizenship.

Self-Design Route: You have a keen interest in practising the principles of global citizenship and experiential learning. You would like to design your own immersion programme that involves reputable international organisations, such as the United Nations and the Red Cross. The duration of your trip must be of 4 weeks or above.

III. Pledge of Commitment

Upon receiving the sponsorship, you are expected to contribute in at least one of the following ways:

engage with student organisations, university offices, or community representatives at your destination to gain insights into the challenges they face, government policies, as well as their innovative solutions;
communicate with local residents to promote Hong Kong culture (e.g. food and popular culture); and/or
share your immersion experience in multimodal forms (e.g. vlogs, video-conferencing, diaries, short videos, photo essays or other forms of creative arts (e.g. poetry, short stories, paintings or songs) at least three times during and after the immersion programme.
