Rooting for you: A UGH Community Gardening Project

Soil is life, and we depend on it for all our needs. In this student-initiated project, you are invited to build a community garden together on the 19F rooftop of the Undergraduate Halls (UGH) and bring farm-to-table concepts to life.

You can grow herbs or seasonal vegetables and use them to create a refreshing drink, a heartwarming dessert, or a detox salad. As a community group, we will have gatherings to chat, relax, and prepare meals together using the produce we grow. Tools, seeds, and guidance from professional farmers will be provided. All you need to bring is your 3H (head, heart, and hands) and a willingness to make friends, connect, and build a community together.

Our student ambassador, Kew, and other students have started planting on the rooftop. Please feel free to visit the garden and join her in building the community or sharing your ideas.

The project is open exclusively to UGH residents. Please enroll here for the opportunity to grow, as participation is on a first-come, first-served basis.
